"When CMT started their bluegrass blog, there was a lot of excitement and
the first few weeks had large responses. Since then, the visits to the
blog have dropped some and it is not now attracting as much attention as
CMT was hoping it would. There are lots of good postings by many of
today's hot bluegrass acts. I think the average fan would find it
interesting and it is a blog that reaches a number of people who are not
the hard core bluegrass fan, but could become real fans.. If CMT sees a
lot of activity here it will help them to continue to support the genre.
This is a valuable outlet for the music. I would hate to see CMT abandon
it. If you haven't checked out the CMT bluegrass blog, give it a shot
and if you can, please spread this link around to the bluegrass faithful
and ask that they go there often.
There are a number of very good blogs which support bluegrass and we
should support them as well as our publications. We need them all."
